Crushing on Leopard Print Heels
Happy Thursday, friend! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far. I am going to keep today’s blog short because I have a lot of studying to do for an audition tomorrow. It’s busy season in actor life (no complaints)! But, I couldn’t let this week go by without sharing this new favorite buy from Red Dress Boutique! The leopard trend is flowing in strong this fall and I am a sucker for a pair of printed pumps; so, I recently got these leopard print heels from Red Dress Boutique and I’m head over heels for them (pun intended).
I love how they can be paired with almost any fall solid color, but they can also be paired with prints too as long as they are in the same color family!
Leopard Print Heels & Solids
First let’s chat about the sweater look! If we’re Instagram friends, you may have already seen this look! This teal sweater is so cozy and comfy and will definitely be a fall go-to in my closet. It can be worn as a v-neck or off the shoulder. My preference is off-shoulder, per usual, and I love giving it a little tuck-in. These jeans have distressing in all the right places, a raw edge hem, and are a great true to size fit. The backpack purse can be worn as a single strap or double strap but, most of all, I love that it matches the brown in the leopard print heels perfectly. I couldn’t ask for a better outfit match if I tried, it’s like each piece was created to compliment each other with the perfect pop of leopard! Fall, here I come!

Second, I wanted to show you how to mix leopard print with other prints! As you can see, these are all bold fall tones in the top and they are in the same tone family as the brown and black in the leopard print heels. Plus, the leopard print brings out the yellow and black in the top. Definitely make sure to keep it to only one other print; otherwise, too many prints clash and fight for attention. I always want my pieces to accent each other, not compete with each other :). They are the same jeans from above!

Bonus Look
Lastly, if you aren’t a fan of mixing the prints, but still love this top, I wanted to throw in a bonus for you so you can have the best of both worlds! I decided to accent the yellow in the top with my yellow clutch and new yellow strappy heels; and, to be totally honest, that third middle strap makes a huge difference in the comfort and security. Like whoa good!
