Well, hello there! It has been quite a minute and I am excited to be sending this out. I’ve been MIA for almost two years because, if you missed it, Dean and I had a baby – Charli West!
I went through PPD then lots of sleep deprivation! You don’t realize the importance of sleep till you have a kid haha! But I feel like I am back in my groove and able to get back to work. Good news, I hired an assistant to get back to it and get more content, sale news, and fashion updates out to you! Keep in mind, I’m still a stay-at-home mom with a two-year-old toddler so if I get delayed, forgive me please 😀 but I’m super excited to be bringing you more content. Disclaimer, I will still be styling everything and writing the blog posts. I’m just getting some help on linking stuff, SEO, collages, etc. (back office stuff).
For extra daily content, you can always check my “Shop My Instagram” page or follow me on the FREE LTK app (@themichellewest)! It’s a game changer for shopping and I’ll be doing a little blog post on it soon to show you how beneficial it is to organize shopping, wishlists, categorize things, etc. It’s also a huge help when it comes organizing gift giving and holiday shopping as well as getting notifications when something goes on sale … huge win!
In other news, for today, I wanted to send out my recent Red Dress Boutique try-on haul because it’s one of my favorites and it is such a good variety of looks for spring and summer! As always, I truly appreciate you using my affiliate links and allowing me to continue doing what I love!
This white linen set is such a comfy outfit for anything from running errands to travel and it even doubles as a beach cover-up! It is sold as set and I’m wearing an extra small in both pieces but could have easily done a small so you can size up if in between. It also comes in red!
This navy and white polkadot high waisted swimsuit is a 10/10 recommendation in my book! Mid try-on I had to run to get Charli because she refused to nap, then make her food and get her medicine because she was sick this past week and I didn’t have time to change so I did everything in this swimsuit lol! Didn’t realize I’d be in it that long but it stayed in place the entire time and I didn’t even get a wedgie so, needless to say, it is a solid win! Even better, the waist folds down so you don’t get a weird high waisted tan-lines! I am wearing a small in both the top and the bottom. They are sold separately and known to run a bit small so I would suggest sizing up one size.
Calling all brides! This white lace dress is a perfect bride look and also comes in white and pink as well – perfect for a baby girl shower or even a fancy date night. I love the classic square neckline and the slit falls in such a perfect spot. I’m wearing an XS but could have easily done a small because, not gonna lie, I had to suck in to zip it up so you can size up if in between. I’m 5’4″ for reference.
This blush pink jumpsuit is great for a wedding guest look! It also comes in cream and white for brides! I’m wearing an XS and it fits true to size! The top ties in the back so it is adjustable to what works for you. The bottom is a back zip closure. I love the couture top on this, as it makes it look like a designer piece. It also has a detachable tie belt if you want some extra pop but, personally, I like it without the belt.
And, last but not least, if you know me well, you know I won’t claim a favorite try-on without getting a good pair of jeans. These high-waisted mom jeans are a favorite because I already have them in the light wash so I had to go back and get them in the medium wash as well. I am wearing a size 25 and they run true to size. I paired them with this cap-sleeve striped sweater that is perfect for spring! Can be worn like this or over a top with sleeves. I’m wearing a small.
I hope you enjoyed these looks as much as I did. Get ready to see them again, even styled different ways. Stay tuned because I have some good upcoming blogs, including, press-on nail details, a new collagen cream, and more! I’m so excited to be back and I hope you were just as excited to see this in your inbox! As always, tag me on Instagram so I can see how you style your looks! Until next time!
XOXO,
Michelle
