Image Skin Care Routine
Good morning! Before we chat my Image Skin Care Routine, I want to apologize if you received a notice for this blog last week. I meant to click “update” but accidentally clicked “publish” and didn’t realize my mail server would still send an email even though I unpublished it; but, just more proof I don’t always have my shit together :D.
Anyway, I’m exited to finally share my Image Skin Care blog with you all because I get lots of questions on my day-to-day skin care routine. First off, I am not getting paid for this blog. I have been using Image Skin Care for about six years now and I absolutely love it! I try other products from time to time to share feedback because one thing doesn’t work for everyone and I want to make this easy for you. Image has worked great for me as well as many others, so I want to share the exact products I use and what I use them for so let’s chat my Image Skin Care Routine.
I also have a story highlight section on Instagram if you want video deets!
Morning Skin Care Routine
Before applying any products in the morning, I apply and hold a wet, warm washcloth to my face to wipe it clean; then, I put some Witch Hazel on a cotton ball and apply it to my face. This is refreshing for me and I feel like it helps prevent breakouts.
After those steps, I use the following products:
Step 1: Ageless Total Anti-aging Serum – I love that serums are very light-weight and sheer while preventing fine lines and wrinkles. I have oily skin so this serum is great for my skin while preventing aging at the same time.
Step 2: Iluma Intense Bleaching Serum – Yes, I use two serums. The first one was for anti-aging and this one is a bleaching serum for sun spots. It has been a life-saver! A few years ago, I started getting sun spots on my face – no bueno! They popped up quickly and out of nowhere. I spent a day in the sun, thought it was a sunglasses tan, then, after it didn’t blend, I realized it was sun spots. I tried everything from lasers to products and this has been the one thing to actually work for me so I always make sure to keep it handy!
Step 3: Clear Cell Medicated Acne Lotion – I never had very bad acne growing up; but, I did get annoying blackheads and (occasionally) those stubborn under-the-skin, painful blemishes. Not fun! I apply this just to my cheeks and nose to keep the blackheads away; and, if I get one of those under-the-skin guys, I apply it to that religiously and it usually speeds up the healing. Now, if you do have acne-prone skin, you can use this as a lotion for prevention! I have friends that have used it for that, and they all gave great feedback!
Step 4: The Max Stem Cell Eye Cream – Our eyes are the first place to get fine lines and wrinkles so this one speaks for itself! Prevent, prevent, prevent! 😀
Step 5: Prevention Daily Matte Moisturizer – If I could give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be to use as much sunscreen then as I use now! Sun damage is so real when it comes to aging our skin; so, if there is anything you put on your face daily, use sunscreen! Don’t get me wrong, we all need to soak up that Vitamin D, but too much of anything isn’t good for us; so, while you soak it up, be sure to protect your skin too!
Step 6: Ageless Total Pure Hyaluronic Filler – This step is optional! I don’t use it daily but I absolutely love this product. Hyaluronic filler is like instant botox! It’s a plumper for our skin. On photo shoot days, audition days, or just days I need a little extra plump, this stuff is my best friend! I don’t use it daily only because I want it to keep its potency to my skin and don’t want my skin to get immune to the effects, but I use it about two or three times a week!
Night Skin Care Routine
Before applying products, I wash my face with the Ageless Total Facial Cleanser; then apply Witch Hazel as I do in the morning.
After those steps, I use the following products:
Step 1: Ageless Total Anti-aging Serum – explanation above
Step 2: Iluma Intense Bleaching Serum – explanation above
Step 3: Clear Cell Medicated Acne Lotion – explanation above
Step 4: The Max Stem Cell Eye Cream – explanation above
Step 5: Ageless Total Repair Crème – Our bodies are still working hard while we sleep; and, let’s be honest, we work them hard during the day. Whether it’s sun, lack of sleep, stress, caffeine, etc., our skin definitely takes the brunt of our struggles, so I like to let mine repair and replenish while I sleep. Afterall, sleep does a body good 🙂
New Products
Image just released two new products that I have been incorporating into my routine and I am loving them, so I was even more excited to share these with you!
The first one is the Vital C hydrating overnight masque, which is my favorite! This masque applies so smooth and sheer and smells sooooo good! I leave it on overnight, as directed, and my skin feels super soft and is glowing in the morning. Then, in the morning I do my usual routine with the warm washcloth to remove it. I use it three times a week, as directed, but I like it so much that I want to use nightly lol!
I am also loving adding the Vital C hydrating water burst into my morning routine. It also smells really good and is so refreshing. It’s perfect to wake not only my skin up, but me up, as well, because I am NOT a morning person :). Also, on no makeup days, I reapply this one throughout the day for extra refreshing!
I also use Mother Dirt Skin Care products in conjunction with Image Skin Care products. To learn more about Mother Dirt, visit my YouTube Channel, my IGTV, or their website. These lines are completely different types of products but, for me, they work great in conjunction! Image is focused on ant-aging and Mother Dirt (plane based) is focused on keeping and restoring my good bacteria and protecting and restoring my skin’s biome!
For more daily beauty products, tools, and hacks my go-to favs are always linked on my ‘Shop My Favorites‘ page! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or contact me! If you have any go-to fav products, esp Image Skin Care products, feel free to mention them below so I can check them out :).
