Julio Designs
Good morning, friends! I am finally catching up on work and life from my Los Angeles trip and I am excited to treat you all to a second blog this week. Just before leaving for L.A., I was introduced to Julio Designs and I could not wait to share details with you all because I got some DM’s about my red carpet looks from the film premiere and I know you all will love this jewelry line as much as I do. But first, one of my favorite aspects is that Julio Designs is ALL handmade by women in Frisco,Texas. Can we just give a high five for #girlpower!!! YES!
I love women empowerment so I am excited to tell you all about these intricately detailed and gorgeous pieces that can easily go from day to night. I chose to dress mine up for this blog because I wore these looks to some of the events for our End Trip film premiere in Los Angeles; but, I also wore them in these same combinations to the day events with more casual outfits and received so many compliments on both. For the premiere events, the lighting wasn’t the best, so I took these photos instead to show you these jewels in their best light, literally and figuratively. Each piece is linked below when I give details on it!
I am a fan of wearing these pieces either solo or combining them in many different ways. I love that the metal finish and vibe is consistent because it makes it so easy to mix and match all the pieces.
One of my favorite combos is the campina choker (in pearl/gold) and the glider necklace (in pearl/gold) because of its layering effect; and, when I wanted to add a little more of a statement, I added the viscose necklace and these teardrop earrings (gold) match perfectly with the set! P.S. the glider necklace can be doubled into it’s own choker, as well, so that’s even more stacking and layering to have fun with!
I, honestly, don’t think I can pick a favorite piece because they are all so gorgeous and unique in their own way; but, when I want to make a very bold statement, my go-to will be the dietrich necklace (in bronze). I mean, heart eyes all day!!! The medium hammered circle earrings (2-tone) match perfectly with the center circle and the bracelets, the dior (in champagne) and the layer cake (in white), are so easy to mix and match with any of the necklace and earring combinations, as you can see, because I wore both bracelets with both combos.
Julio’s collections are so easily stackable, which is obvi one of my fav aspects! They are very fashion forward and trendy, yet still have an antique vibe, which I love because it draws a very classy appeal. It’s the best of both worlds! I remember always being a fan of the antique vibe because I love wear family heirloom pieces and I even still wear jewelry that my parents gave me from my childhood … well, the ones that fit lol! But, even better, I love that Julio Designs can fit right into those collections as well as my newer pieces and collections!
