New Years Eve Outfit Options
I am totally looking forward to an amazing start to 2018; but, first, we have to finish 2017 off with a bang wrapped up in a bangin outfit! So, I am here to give you lots of last minute New Years Eve outfit options to make your shopping stress free and easy! Most places are still guaranteeing your package in time; but check their shipping info before finalizing! 🙂

I think that would be more user-friendly for you all; but your feedback is definitely appreciated! First, I will give a little explanation of each with my spin to them!
Sequin
The official go-to for NYE but one of my absolute favs because it’s so perfect for the occasion! I LOVE sequin dresses but, when it comes to sequin, I also love pairing it with leather or denim to create a different look (see my inspo below). My favorite part is that the denim look can be worn for an everyday casual vibe as well; but I would totally wear that for NYE depending on the event! And I’m a sucker for red leather; so pairing it with my red leather skirt (linked) is one of my new fav dressy looks! Some people think sequin is a little itchy; so, if that’s you, I have many other options in mind!

Velvet
Velvet is one of my favorite materials to wear; and, if you’re a “sequin is too itchy” person, it will be your favorite too!!! I chatted about velvet in detail on my Velvet Trends blog; but, I also mention that I touch the material all night because it’s so soft and comfy LOL!!! There are so many ways to wear velvet; so definitely refer to that blog for more inspo; but I will link some of my top NYE velvet picks below!
Little Black Dress (LBD)
Ok, EVERY GIRL must have an LBD in her closet; so, if you don’t, you can get more for your money with this option because you can get sooooo many uses out of it! OR, from the other perspective, if you already have one and your debating on your NYE plans, you can always use your LBD as your last minute option if you don’t want to spend much on an outfit this NYE because I know Christmas can take a toll on our finances lol!
Tips to Staying Warm
If you’re like me, I get all tough and I’m like “this outfit is so cute so I will just deal with the cold!”; then, ‘cut to’ that evening when I feel outside, and I quickly resort to the warmest option in my closet because I’m a complete wimp in cold weather! However, I have found some ways around this! If you have a velvet (or regular) jumpsuit, you can always put leggings on under them. I had to do this for a wedding in Colorado once and it helped tremendously! You can always do the denim and sequin option so you can put leggings under your denim! And one of my favorite looks is a velvet jumpsuit or tank dress with a sweater under it! I’ve been looking for a wide-leg velvet jumpsuit that’s the right length to try this look; so, when I find one, I will definitely share for those of you who are petite like me! I’ve linked options below though for my average height and taller ladies!
Don’t FURget the Fur!
Speaking of warm, you can top off any of these options with a faux fur coat!! Or go with a casual vibe and dress it up with some fur and, BAM, you have your NYE look! I linked my fav faux fur coats in the boutique below!
