Michael Kors Backpack Purse

I am so excited to have invested in my first Michael Kors Handbag, the Rhea Medium Backpack Purse in blush!!!  Ok, wait, first, are you guys like me and get a new handbag that’s all pretty and don’t want to take it out of the bag because you just know you will get it dirty?!  Ugh, why am I so OCD?!  I had to let go decently quick this time though because I have to travel with it next week; soooo, let’s chat my new Michael Kors Backpack Purse because this beauty has so many perks about her.

It’s the perfect accessory for looking chic and still having all your daily essentials whether you’re hoping on a plane, taking on the city streets, or just completing an effortless business chic ensemble!  It comes in six colors but my favs are blush and acorn because they go with ANYTHING!  P.S.  I LOVE mixing blush and lavender for the summer like I did with this outfit and even more now that my Michael Kors Backpack purse is the icing on the cake!

I actually won a $500 gift card to the Shops at Canal Place and I wanted to make a good investment.  I could have easily spent it on clothes, but they’re seasonal so I really wanted something that I could use longer.  Dean, being the awesome hubby that he is, suggested that I get a good, quality backpack purse that I can use for travel and I thought it was a great idea.  I’ve never been a big designer handbag collector until recently because I’ve noticed that you get what you pay for.  I once found a Kate Spade one on MAJOR sale so I took advantage of that; then, recently, I got my Hammitt VIP Handbag, which you can read more about here.  But other than those two, my Michael Kors Backpack Purse is the newest addition!

Like I said, I got this one for travel, but I am totally going to use it for every day also!  I was originally debating between the small size (linked in case that’s your preference) and the medium size; but, when I saw all the perks for the medium size, I was sold.  Plus, it was only a $30 difference and I am all about getting more bang for my buck.  I used to not be like that but Dean rubbed off on me!  Anyway, back to the point, this backpack is PERFECT for travel days and I’m so glad I got in right in time for our upcoming Los Angeles trip!  Oh, side note again, stay tuned for lots of coverage on that because we are going for the World Premier of our film, End Trip, which we produced and starred in last year!  I can’t wait to share details with you all 🙂

Ok, more bag deets!  It has multiple zipper pockets and delicate shoulder straps, which is not only perfect for travel but also for a girl on-the-go who is a purse stuffer …. ME! :D.  The front bottom horizontal compartment is a flat slot that would be good for chapstick, business cards, blotting sheets, etc.  It isn’t an open bucket section but I like that because that gives more room in the main compartment, which is the zipper compartment that lays against the back.  This area can fit an iPad, a bottled water, snacks, my wallet and more … see, perfect for travel!  It also contains one zipper pocket and three open pockets.  Then, the outside vertical zipper compartment is a great spot for cell phone, boarding passes, beauty essentials, etc!

Speaking of wallet, I also committed and got the rose gold wallet to match!  They had the exact matching wallet, but I wanted one that could go with my other bags as well and even be a wristlet if I wanted to wear it solo!  Blush would go with everything but this one is a little more neutral than blush! It fits everything, even my receipt stack lol, and I LOVE it!  When I commit to a wallet, it’s for a while; so I am assuming with this quality, I will be a happy camper!
