Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hellooooo, everyone!  I am pretty sure I might be the only blogger that hasn’t been covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like crazy … YET!!  There’s a reason though!  First of all, audition season is back in full swing; and I’ve had auditions and callbacks like crazy, lately!  But don’t worry, I have been keeping up with the shopping on my end for you all; and, on that note, being that this is my first year blogging for the anniversary sale, I want to guide you all in the right direction.  Therefore, I’m learning the ropes in and out this year to guide you all like a full force pro for the next one.  BUT, I definitely won’t go through this sale without sharing my favs with you all!

First of all, my absolute fav Nordstrom item, is this white t-shirt!!!  I put it on my Insta-story and many of you asked about it; so you can shop it below!  I’m such a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl; so they fact that this shirt has a little extra to it makes it go from casual to chic in the blink of an eye.  Of course, my fav item isn’t included in the sale lol; but like I said, this is a learning process together and I would highly suggest snagging it in addition to all of your sale items.  I love wearing it with shorts and sneakers, which was on my Insta-story the other day; or adding some heels and/or even tucking it in for a dressier look.

So, for the Anniversary Sale, if you’re learning with me, here are a few vital pieces of info I’ve learned so far:

 |Early Access |

Early access is only for Nordstrom card holders; but it is definitely a must!  I will be applying soon; so I can be prepped early for the next one because it is true that everything sells out super fast – if not the sizes, the best colors, for sure.  Early access customers get EIGHT days of shopping before it is open to the public.  That’s super awesome!  Also, side note, when you apply for the card, if you spend $100 the day you’re approved, you will get a $20 Nordstrom note, which is basically a $20 Nordstrom gift card.  If you’re like me, you just justified getting your $100 purchase for $80 ;).  And as cardholder, you get constant rewards for using your card!

| Public Access |

Begins tomorrow, July 21st, and ends August 6th!!!  The prices do go back up after the sale; so don’t test it!  The earlier you shop the better; but some stuff goes on backorder so there’s still a chance that you get your favorite items … they just may be a little late.  The prices make it worth it though.  If you didn’t get early access, you can still get a sneak peek and put everything in your wish list; so you have everything ready to purchase once it opens to the public!

Now that you have made your wish list, shop away!  If you have a Nordstrom near you, print out your wish list; so you can go try on and avoid returns in case something doesn’t work.  Unfortunately, New Orleans doesn’t have a Nordstrom, only a Nordstrom Rack; so if you’re in my boat, you will be shopping online, which I’m definitely not mad at as I sip my coffee and sit on my couch in comfy pjs :).  BUT the main reason I love Nordstrom online shopping is because they ALWAYS have free shipping and free returns; so you still get all of the perks of shopping in store!  Win win!  Although, since I’m learning this year, I plan to make it to a store location next year to give you guys all the early info and sneak peeks, as well!
