POREfessional Review

I couldn’t wait to share POREfessional, by Benefit Cosmetics, with you guys because I have been on an endless search for a good pore minimizer and I have FINALLY found it!  Before I start, this is an honest review, it is not sponsored and I am not being paid!  I really just LOVE this product and wanted to share the goodness!

So, unless you’re new here, we ALL know that I have the oiliest skin and buy Clean & Clear oil blotting sheets in bulk.  If you’re new here, you’re caught up, and WELCOME to the club!  And, yes, I usually have blotting sheets in every bag and room, pretty much in every spot that I have chapstick lol!  BUT, since I found POREfessional, my need for them has been significantly lower.  Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate Clean & Clear for always saving me, but the fact that I need them less is such a relief.  I mean, I was rocking the “dewey” look on an ‘extra’ level like 15 minutes after applying makeup, 10 minutes on humid days!  No joke!

It has a super smooth, velvety feel to it.  It goes on like powder and feels so smooth as you rub it on to your skin making your pores seem invisible.

This is the one product that I have actually been able to use after my makeup also.  But, rewind, first, I use POREfessional as a primer because, like I said, it minimizes pores significantly; so, I use it first, then apply concealer and foundation (for a full face).  For everyday, I just apply a mineral powder over it and it is amazing coverage.  And, honestly, some days, I just use the POREfessional by itself.  This usually keeps the oil away and, so far, at most, I have had to use the Clean & Clear blotting sheets once (if even) during the day as opposed to my usual 4-5 uses.  I’ve been taking Porefessional on shoots with us and applied it over my makeup on the t-zone area and it didn’t mess up my makeup at all AND still absorbs the oil!  And I usually only need to do this once if I even need to!  I will see how it works as it gets more humid in the next few months and keep you all updated!

In the past, I’ve tried applying other oil absorbing products, like sprays and mists, over my makeup and it usually smears the makeup or keeps the dewey look.  I have never had any luck until POREfessional.  When I discovered it, I actually saw it on a friend and complimented her on how amazing it looked and all she had on was POREfessional so I knew I had to try it and I am SO GLAD I did!

I am actually ordering an extra travel size soon so I can always have one in my purse!  Oh and the icing on the cake, you know a product is good when your man is stealing it!  LOL!  No kidding though.  Dean uses POREfessional too and he has been promoting it without realizing it.  I call him out on it because it’s so funny when he starts chatting makeup, but it’s helped him for both auditions and headshots.  Our auditions tapes are very close up and he likes the pore mining effect for it; and, we take headshots in the natural light outside so he used it the other day when it got really humid, and he saw how beneficial it was!  Plus, he recommends it to all his students lol!

Benefit cosmetics has a few other products that I want to try, as well!  I will link those here and will keep you guys updated as I try them out!
