Soak up the Sun Staycation Essentials

Good Morning, Friends!  Am I the only one who like to explore my own city and discover new things about it?  Probably not and if you follow along on stories, you may already know this but, if you’re new, Dean and I did a little staycation at The Jung Hotel in New Orleans recently to get a little breather after our 14-day work trip to Los Angeles!  We worked like crazy for the film, so getting a little break was much needed and much deserved!  We wanted a date night and a pool day; so, we booked The Jung and loved it.  The staff is so wonderful, the meal was delish, and the pool was super relaxing!  Plus, it’s super cute and modern and has great lighting for all my blogger babes ;).  This post is sponsored by Babble Boxx, who sent me some essentials that all came in handy for our trip, so I wanted to share them with you all in case you have a beach or pool day coming up. Pure Leaf Tea

A great summer pool or beach day necessity is Pure Leaf Tea!  We all know I drink tea on the daily reg and these two have been added to my favorite list, for sure!  I honestly can’t pick a favorite because they’re both so different.  The Strawberry & Garden Mint is equivalent to a perfect beach day.  No kidding, close your eyes when you’re drinking it and you can just hear the waves and feel the sand in your toes.  It’s super refreshing!!!

Cavit Collection Rosè

Yes way, Rosè, right?!  I am sure I don’t need to get a raise of hands to know that you all are with me for having some Rosè at the pool!  This Cavit Rosè wine, imported from the foothills of Northern Italy’s alps, is my new official taste of summer.

It has hints of raspberries, cherries, watermelon, and strawberries.  I like to compare it to a field of berries in a glass.  It is very refreshing, especially when it is chilled, which makes it perfect for a pool day!  Dean and I enjoyed it so much that we also had it as an after dinner drink in our hotel room.  This would make a great wine for a girls night or dinner guests, as it pairs great with any fish or white meat dishes!

Coobie Bra

I’m sure I’m speaking for all of us lately when I say it has been H.O.T. with a double capital ‘H’ if that is possible!  But, for real, mother nature is running a serious temp; and, although a swimsuit is definitely a necessity at the pool, I always like to have my coobie bralettes with me for an extra change for after pool excursions.  Sometimes we like to stop and eat before going up to the room or even do a little walking; and, I don’t know about you guys, but once I get back to my room and sit down, I’m not getting back up lol.

So, I usually bring an easy change and the coobie bras are a must for me because they are lightweight, comfortable, and breathable, which is everything in this summer heat because, in all honestly, the last thing I want to put on after a pool day is a regular bra with annoying underwire!  Are you with me or are you with me! :D.  Icing on the cake, I could wear both of these on a daily basis with my causal outfits because they’re all sorts of comfortable!  Oh, and, good news, with code BAB30 you can get 30% off any order on their website until June 2019!  That deserves post-it note at my desk!

My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream

To wrap up a good, relaxing pool day and dinner at the hotel, Dean and I went back to our room and dove into some My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream!  First of all, have you all ever had Mochi Ice Cream?  Dean introduced me to it when we started dating and I was hooked; so, now anytime we have date night, it’s is our cheat treat! It’s basically little balls of ice cream wrapped in dough (aka mochi).  It’s like ice cream and doughnuts got married and had a baby!  It’s crazy good!
