Summer Swimsuit Wishlist

Am I the only one who’s already ready for swimsuit season?!  Ok, physically, I feel like I need a little more gym time in my life; but, as far as the weather, I’m totally the “skip from beanies to swimsuit” type of girl and, apparently, so is New Orleans based on our recent climate change.  I’m finally getting hooked on some spring trends but, at first, nothing was jumping out at me, which made me even more eager to jump into swimsuits this year; so, let’s dive into my Summer Swimsuit Wishlist!

One-piece Swimsuit

The main one piece that I have been eyeing up this summer has finally been added to my collection!  I had to wait fo a restock and they are continually restocking if your size is out so keep checking!!  My favorite thing about one-piece suits is that they can double as a bodysuit; and, if you haven’t done this yet, you’re welcome!  This suit is complete heart eyes with the elegant ruffle and adjustable open back.  I’m literally obsessed!!!  I don’t own many one-piece suits because of my shape.  My butt has always stuck out; so, unless it’s open back, it doesn’t form to my body and it creates a trampoline effect on the small of my back lol!  Trust me, it’s a love-hate problem; but, if you have the same problem, this will be your one-piece of the season!  I am also linking some other favs that are on my wishlist!

Bikini

I am a bikini fanatic!  These just fit good with the whole butt issue lol!  I used to be a swimsuit model and I got to keep all the suits from the shoots; so, my collection of these is pretty expansive even after many closet clean-outs!  Some of my favs, which I will link in the last category of this blog, are from last season and still in stock; but, in this section, I will link the ones that I am eyeing up on my wishlist for this summer!

High-Waisted Bikini

I am SO glad that high-waisted bikinis came back within the past few years.  I will be honest, I only wear them when I’m not directly in the sun because they will make for interesting tan lines lol; but, they are sooooo dang cute!  I feel like I’m back in the 40’s & 50’s and I. LOVE. IT!!!  I swear I was born in the wrong decade – old soul!  Here are some on my wishlist for this season!
