Target got the best of me!

I know I’m not the only one who get’s stuck in the Target Black Hole, right?!  If we are friends on Instagram, you probably saw that one of my dogs, Bernie, came down with pneumonia the week before last!  First of all, it was so heartbreaking because he was so weak and not himself.  Crazy enough, Bernie is only seven years old and this was a pneumonia usually found in senior dogs.  The vet said it could have been from inhalation but, regardless, thanks to them, he did a super quick turnaround and is doing sooooo much better!  We owe them a huge thank you!  Point of telling you all this is that I had to grab one of his meds from Target’s pharmacy and since they were taking forever I thought “I’ll just go walk around”, and they knew exactly what they were doing because Target got the best of me!  But I ended up finding some pretty good deals and stocking up on some of my regular buys so I figured I’d share with you!

BEAUTY

I always stock up on Aussie 3-minute miracle treatment.  If you’ve seen my hair tutorials on IG stories or YouTube, you know I usually only wash my hair every 7-10 days.  Mainly because I use Not Your Mother’s dry shampoo daily.  But since I go so long without washing it, it can get pretty knotty.  I swear by the Aussie 3-minute miracle, trust me, it get’s all the knots out!  I grabbed the Kristin Ess styling powder for the first time and I’m loving it so far.  If you run your fingers through your hair, it reactivates throughout the day, win!  Also, I just grabbed the Loreal Telescopic Mascara for the first time, as well, because I heard lots of good things about it!  My honest opinion, it wasn’t great!  Here’s the thing, it added length but there was no volume and I didn’t like how the wand is too easily bendable when putting it back into the tube.  Therefore, I’m linking my all time favs that I always go back to and use daily – I use Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Mascara as a base on the top and the bottom lashes.  Then, I top off the top lashes with Better Than Sex by Too Faced.  (Better Than Sex isn’t from Target but I’m still linking it below for you guys.)  It’s my all-time favorite Mascara.  Also, a good drug store dupe for this one is L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara.

DELICATES

These undies are the most comfortable!  I love the coverage on them and and the thick string detail keeps it cute and sexy!  I use the adhesive bra on a daily basis!  It’s so easy because you can wear almost any top with it, except a deep v!  I just grabbed the ultimate boost adhesive bra for the first time so I’m excited to try that!  It seems like it will have a little more support than they regular one!  However, the lace detail is very textured so it will only be good for thicker tops because the lace will show on thin ones.

JEWELRY

I grabbed the rings and disc necklace while I was there, but I’m linking some pieces that I found that are dupes for some of my daily, dainty favs!

HOME

Dean and I are planning to remodel our home this year so I’ve been on the hunt for home stuff anytime I’m in Target or Home Goods, but I make myself have some self-control until we actually get started since I don’t know exact color schemes yet.  I am linking a few of the end tables that I’m eyeing up for some inspo though!

HANDBAGS & BACKPACKS

I went crazy in the handbag section!!!  To be clear, I didn’t buy all these or Dean would seriously make me quit blogging lol!  I actually just put a few on my wishlist since I just got a new everyday backpack recently!  I definitely want one of the winged satchels but I can’t decide what color.  I also want a snake print one but I can’t decide between those either.  And if I didn’t just get a backpack, the Mandi Mini backpack is such a good one!  It was actually in my cart until I had to narrow down …. yes, I got to that point LOL! I’ll take pics and link on on Insta as I narrow down and decide on some bags!
