White Rhino Bags

Hey, friend, and Happy “Short Work Week”!  I actually cannot believe Thanksgiving week is here already.  I feel like this year has flown by faster than usual; but, since this is the week that most being Christmas shopping, I wanted to share a new handbag site that I discovered with you!  If we are Instagram friends, you already got a sneak peek but, if not, here we go!  I am a backpack handbag lover and I recently got two bags from White Rhino Bags and couldn’t wait to share details with you because I have them on major repeat, since they arrived, for so many reasons!

My Picks

First, let’s chat my picks then we can get into details!  Like I said, I am a sucker for backpacks for my go-to everyday bag because I feel like they make life so much easier.  I do love and use regular handbags but I’m a “stuffer” when it comes to bags; so, if I use shoulder or arm bags, they get way too heavy.  Therefore, I chose two backpacks, the new White Rhino Signature Backpack in Cashew Dream and the Xandra Xo Backpack.  I have to admit for the White Rhino Signature Backpack it was sooooo hard to choose a color because they’re all so good.  I definitely have the Marshmellow Brûlée and the Love Afterdark on my wishlist also; but, the Afternoon Sangria and Dark Avocado are so great too!  Ahhh, decisions!!!

If we jump off the topic of backpacks for a sec, I definitely love the Thalia’s Mini Tote.  This seems like a great size with ample compartments for an everyday bag if you prefer totes!

Black Friday | Cyber Monday

Material

This is one of my favorite aspects!  I am an animal lover and anytime I find handbags that are made of cruelty-free, vegan leather, my attention is definitely captured; and, all products from White Rhino Bags are made from cruelty-free, vegan materials.  Once I saw that, I was even more hooked.  Side note, in case you don’t know, cruelty-free, vegan leather is man-made leather-like material that is NOT made from the skin of an animal.  While I wish that I could claim that my entire personal handbag collection is made of vegan materials, I cannot; but, I am always ready to jump on board with companies like White Rhino Bags to push the concept and eventually make that claim!

Size & Compartments

These bags are super efficient!  If you read about how White Rhino was developed here, it was because the designer, Claire, wanted to have enough room for all of her stuff but also wanted a sustainable bag!  Once again, women knowing what works for women – girl power!

Both the Signature Backpack and the Xandra Xo are great size, especially for everyday use, and have an ample amount of compartments not only on the inside but also on the outside.  I love that, with both, I have easy access to my phone, chapstick, and business cards because, we know, those are essentials lol!  Also, I have to share the fact that Dean already tried to steal my Xandra Xo backpack to use as his gym bag LOL; but, good point, it can double as a gym bag and I love when something has dual purposes because you get more bang for your buck!

Quality

I love the quality of my two picks!  The Signature Backpack maintains its square(ish) shape and holds itself up but still it isn’t too stiff.  I love that there is still flexibility to it. Oh, and the backpack strap zips together as one strap to wear on one shoulder, or it unzips to wear on both shoulders – love that perk!

The Xandra Xo has a little more flexibility to it, as if the leather has an “already broken-in” feel to it, which I love!  We all know purses and shoes are our fav once they’ve been broken in for a while because it adds character and comfort ;).
